What is Overcard in poker?

A term used multiple ways to describe cards that are higher than either the highest community card currently on the board or a player’s pocket pair. For example, the flop is 752, and the turn is Q, the turn card can be considered an "overcard" to the board. Additionally, if a player is holding pocket Tens, and the flop comes KJ4, the player could state there were two "overcards" on the flop.
