The first player to voluntarily enter the pot is said to be "First In". There are two ways to do that: via open-raising or open-limping. These strategies are often mentioned in their abbreviated forms "RFI" and "LFI" respectively. RFI stands for 'Raise First In' and LFI is short for 'Limp First In'.
